Nana Time

Great Grandmothers are amazing. There's something magnetic about them. They exude unconditional love, wisdom and energy. I was lucky enough to have my great grandmother Howell in my life until I was 25. I'm so glad that my kids have two great grandmothers to enjoy.

Nana is my grandma on my mom's side and I adore her. So do my boys. In fact, Cal often asks if he can go to Nana's house. During our Utah visit, we were able to spend some quality time at her house.

Road Trip Part One Continued

Whenever we visit our family and friends in Utah it seems like we always run out of time to see everyone and do everything we were hoping. Here are some more of our trip highlights:
Helping Uncle Cord dig trenches for a new sprinkler system.
Spending time with Nana.
Cal holds a very special place in his heart for his great grandma.
Visiting Johnny's Dairy and picking up fresh milk.
Lots of quality grammy time. Cal is her little assistant in this kitchen.
Finishing a nightly bath and getting
ready for evening snuggles and books with grammy.
Hanging with Uncle Donald. He's one cool uncle.

Dear Nana

Direct quote from Cal when he woke up from his nap today:

I like Nana. I want to go to Nana's today. I want to play airplanes and eat crackers with Nana. I LIKE NANA, NANA, NANA.

Nana, we wish we lived closer to you!
