Grandma & Grandpa Calvert and Allison Visit

Seeing family in AZ is like enjoying a favorite dessert. For the past couple of weekends we've been spoiled with fun visitors.

Two weekends ago, Mom and Dad Calvert came into town for the 90th birthday celebration of a dear family friend. Calahan loved following around his Grandpa and Crewe couldn't get enough time with his Grandma.
On Saturday we got to see my cousin Allison. She was in town on her first business trip as a newly employed college graduate. Congrats Ali! Crewe was born while she was on her mission (she just returned from the Dallas mission in August) so they met for the first time. Crewe really studied her at first and then quickly warmed up. The boys spent the rest of the day competing for her attention. We had fun chatting, eating lunch at Cal's favorite Mexican place, and looking at car options for Ali.

Annual Cousins Halloween Party

Mindy and Lindsey hosted the first annual cousins Halloween Party on Friday night. Everyone came in costume. We were so glad we were in town because it ROCKED!

Colton and Jacob as Dwight Schrute and Michael Scott (Love that beet!)
Josh & Mindy as a polygamist couple. They were in character all night. Wish I had gotten a photo of the back of her hair.
Princess Laura
Josh as Barrack Obama
Marne as Hillary and cute Matthew in the corner (sorry, Matt my other photo of you was blurry!)
Chris & me. Chris really got a kick out of the fact that BYU is actually celebrating 25 years since they've won a national championship. So...he came decked out 1984 style.
Jason strutting his stuff
Love those teeth Chad!
Brian (my youngest brother) and his girlfriend Shawna.
Whitney, the cutest M&M ever!
Lindsey & Mike
Sarah makes nerdom attractive
Ash & Allie
My bro Donald gets the award for most creative costume. He's a "blessing in disguise."
The decor was so cute that I had to include a couple of photos. These fun bottles were all labeled with spooktacular halloween names.
We had soup in these adorable pumpkin bread bowls. Yum!
