Seeing the kids light up on Christmas morning was one of my favorite gifts this year. It was so fun to watch them find the gifts Santa left for them. Santa left them unwrapped, of course.
Calahan jumped right in the driver's seat of his new fire engine and promptly drove it around the house.

Crewe was thrilled to see his tent "mansion." He has absolutely zero interest in unwrapping any gifts. We kept them wrapped and it took almost two weeks after Christmas before he was ready to unwrap anything new.

You are never too old for legos. Here's Chris unwrapping an architectural series Lego set of home by one of his all-time favorite architects, Frank Lloyd Wright.

After the fire truck, Cal's favorite gift was a BYU jersey from Grammy. He put it on promptly and finds a way to work it into his clothing routine, a routine that goes something like superman shirt, BYU jersey, superman shirt, BYU jersey, repeat!)

Another favorite gift is this Radio Flyer wagon from Grandma and Grandpa. Here are the boys checking out the now empty plate of cookies they left for Santa the night before. It turns out that Santa's favorite cookies are homemade Oreos.

After an exciting morning, we went to the home of our friends, the Maughans for a lovely Christmas dinner. Bob makes an awesome turkey and incredible gravy to go with it.

A memorable Christmas, indeed.
